The Single Motor is the base model with 51 kWh battery and an average of 200 miles. The Single Motor Extended has a 69 kWh battery and gives a range of up to 290 miles. The top of the range powertrain, the Twin Motor Performance, combines the larger battery with a 154bhp electric motor to give a combined output of 422bhp and a driving range of 280 miles.
The EX30 Estate is Volvo's smallest EV, it is also designed with the smallest carbon footprint. 25% of its external aluminium is recycled, along with 17% of all its steel and plastics. Inside, up to 30% of the interior decor is made from recycled plastics, making it Volvo's most eco-friendly EV yet.
Safety technology and driver assistant tech vary depending on which trim you lease. Entry level trims come with rear parking camera and rear parking sensor, 18 inch alloys and a 12.3 inch touchscreen infotainment system with Google built in for handsfree assistant and 'calm view' so that you only see essential information, reducing distractions. Other trims offer Door Opening Alert, Park Pilot Assist, 360-degree camera, Collision Avoidance System and Pilot Assist making driving, parking and manoeuvring safer and easier for the driver. Its squared steering wheel gives the driver a sporty feel and has a number of buttons for easy control without needing to remove your hands from the wheel.
