VC reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions. Changes will take effect from the time and date they are posted on the website.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure this data is as accurate as possible, this information should only be used as a guide. For the avoidance of doubt, you should check all details of the vehicle you wish to order directly with the manufacturer or one of their franchised dealers. VC will not be held responsible for any loss damage or otherwise caused by the reliance upon information contained on the website.

VC only provides Contract Hire and Personal Contract Hire. All Quotations on the site are spread rentals 3 23, 35, 47 or 6 23, 35, 47 9 23, 35, 47 unless otherwise stated
Pricing Policy:
Prices quoted for Business Contract Hire exclude VAT.
Prices quoted for Personal Contract Hire include VAT.
The VAT is set to the prevailing national rate at the time, should this rate change during the length of your contract the payments will be adjusted accordingly by the finance company.

a) full mainland UK driven delivery. VC reserves the right to pass on costs imposed on VC by the franchised dealer for deliveries to certain locations in the UK. Delivery on a trailer may be available free of charge or at extra cost;
b) Number plates;
c) Road fund licence for the duration of the contract (unless stated otherwise);
d) Vehicle Registration Charge;
Quotations:
VC reserves the right to withdraw a quotation before or after a vehicle is ordered by you. This may be because of, but shall not be limited to, changes in money costs, manufacturer’s prices or residual value changes.
Prices on the VC website are for information purposes only and do not constitute an offer by VC which is capable of acceptance by you.
VC will provide a quotation for you based on your specification and needs. VC will not be held liable for any extras, options or otherwise you fail to adequately describe to VC or our agents.
Vehicles and Special Offers:
The vehicle specifications displayed on the website are supplied by the vehicle manufacturer or finance company financing the vehicle.
All Special Offers, Deal of the Day, and Specials Garage vehicles are subject to availability and supply from the Manufacturer, Franchise Dealer, or Finance Company. Vehicle Contracts Ltd reserves the right to change or cancel the offered price or vehicle specification once availability of the vehicle has finished.
For the avoidance of any doubt Vehicle Contracts Ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage arising, in contact, tort or otherwise, directly or indirectly from the cancelation or supply of a vehicle.
Whilst we make every effort to assist in identifying vehicle options and standard specifications, the information should only be used as a guide and no decision should be made to finance a vehicle without first checking that the vehicle meets all your needs and requirements with the manufacturer web site, manufacturer or franchised dealer. Please therefore check your order carefully to ensure it suits your exact requirements.

Used and Pre-Registered Vehicles:
All Pre-Registered and Used Vehicles are sold with the balance of the manufacturer warranty, an MOT will be required (at customers cost) 3 years from published taxation point, in line with UK law.
If a vehicle is pre-registered, you will be entitled to the balance of the manufacturer’s warranty and roadside assistance cover. In the event that the warranty expires within the contract hire period, you will be liable for any repairs or breakdown costs, unless a maintenance package is purchased as part of the contract subject to the contracts terms and conditions.
Finance applications:
Following an acceptance by you of a quotation from VC, you will be prompted to complete a financial application form.
In providing either your business and/or personal information to VC, you authorise VC to disclose this information and any other information we hold to one or more finance companies for the purpose of considering your finance application. By this act you are also accepting the terms and conditions of the finance company.
We rely on you to provide accurate information and relevant documentation when requested by the finance company.
If you are applying on behalf of a Limited Company, you are confirming you have the authority for a credit search to be carried out in the name of the Company and its Directors.
The finance company will use the information provided to carry out searches with Credit Reference Agencies. A record of this search will be kept and may be used by other lenders in assessing future applications from you or your business. The finance company will make checks with various fraud prevention agencies to detect and prevent fraud.
VC will rely on you to provide the finance company accurate information at all times.
You will be requested to provide any additional information required by the finance company as a condition of their consideration of your finance application. Refusal to do so will result in the finance application being declined or different acceptance terms offered.
Orders:
By signing and returning the vehicle order you are accepting these terms and conditions and agreeing to order your vehicle in accordance with these terms and conditions and the conditions on the vehicle order. All orders are a legally binding contract. Sign only if you wish to be bound to the terms and conditions
An order does not create a contract between you and VC. For a contract, VC must locate you a vehicle which matches your chosen specification at a price acceptable to both you and VC.
Until you enter into a financial agreement with a finance company, there is no contract to hire a vehicle in force. This will only become in force on the signing of the finance contract by both yourself and the finance company. The finance company will notify all parties when the contract is in force.
VC will accept no responsibility for any errors or omissions regarding vehicle model or specification, including any optional extras.
If you have accepted the order and these terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to check the vehicle you are ordering is to your requirements.
VC will not take a deposit from you once we accept the signed vehicle order. If you cancel the vehicle order a cancellation fee of £500 VAT will become due payable within seven working days.
Delivery and Documentation:
All documentation required by the finance company must be completed by you and returned to VC prior to the delivery of your vehicle being arranged.
Any cooling off period stipulated by the finance company must have expired before delivery of the vehicle can be arranged.
If documentation is incorrectly completed and/or all supporting documents required by the finance company have not been received and approved by the finance company, delivery will also not be arranged.
VC will charge a document fee of £240 VAT for each vehicle. This charge covers all documentation, administration, and standard delivery costs
Any outstanding monies owed to VC must be paid before delivery will be arranged.
Delivery timescales are an indication only. Whilst VC endeavour to meet any timescale quoted, we will not be liable for any compensation arising out of a delay to the vehicle due to factors out of VC control.
The statutory cooling off period observed by finance companies applies to all vehicles and as such, vehicles will not be delivered until the cooling off period has expired.
All vehicles must be insured Fully Compressive by you. We may require proof of insurance subject to finance company rules. You must be a named driver or main policy holder on the insurance certificate. You must also inform your insurance company that the finance company is the owner and registered keeper of the vehicle (unless stated otherwise).
Cancellation:
If you wish to cancel your vehicle order prior to delivery you must do so in writing. Such cancellation may result in loss of any monies paid to VC and you will be liable to the cancellation fee agreed in your vehicle order.
This does not affect your rights afforded to you under the Consumer Credit Act 1974, the Consumer Protection (Distance Sales) Regulations 2002 or the Financial Services (Distance Selling) Regulations 2004.
Any additional costs incurred by VC due to a cancellation by you will be passed on to you. We will provide evidence of such costs upon request.
Commission:
Vehicle Contracts Limited does not charge a fee for sourcing your car finance. Should you be accepted for finance, you will enter into a lease agreement with one of our panel fund providers. We are paid a commission by the finance provider, once the agreement is live. The commission we receive maybe pre-set but can vary and may impact the amount payable by the customer In-line with new legislation, if you would like Vehicle Contracts Ltd to disclose any
potential commission please make your request in writing to your VC contact or write to 'The Compliance Manager', at our office address.

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. What Happens if you have a complaint?

01675 466433 We will respond in writing to complaints within 5 working days (unless they can be resolved in 24 hours).
We will attempt to resolve your complaint as fairly and as promptly as possible. However, If the investigation is not complete within 8 weeks from the date of the complaint, the company will confirm this in writing to you. This will include an explanation for the ongoing delay together with an estimation of when the final response letter may be expected. We will also confirm at that time that you may be eligible to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
When we have concluded our investigation, we will send you a final response letter. If you are not satisfied with our response you may be eligible to refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). This must be done within six months of the date of our final response letter.
